Getting here
The Naval Museum is located on the island of Stumholmen in central Karlskrona, about ten minutes' walk from the city centre.
Parking
The Naval Museum's visitor parking is located at Sparregården, on the other side of the bridge to Stumholmen. Parking for people with reduced mobility (with a valid parking permit) is available outside the museum entrance.
Accessibility
The Naval Museum has large free spaces and elevators between the two floors. Baby changing rooms and toilets are adapted for visitors who use wheelchairs, permobil, walkers or other aids.

The Naval Museum is a cash-free museum. Payment is made pay by card or Swish.

There are accessible toilets on the ground floor.
Bags and outerwear
There are lockers for smaller bags in our cloakroom, by the information desk at the ground floor. Avoid bringing large bags into the exhibitions. Avoid bringing larger bags and backpacks into the exhibitions. You are not allowed to board the submarine Neptun with a bag. There are lockers for small bags in our cloakroom, by the information desk at the ground floor.
Food and drink
Our restaurant Bistro Skeppsgossen is beautifully situated in the Naval Museums most spacious room, with a large outdoor terrace next to the water overlooking the museum ships.

Experience the museum with drama, sound effects and unexpected stories. The soundtracks guide you through the exhibits, at the pace and order you want.
For visitors with children
Baby changing rooms
Baby changing facilities can be found in the cloakroom on the ground floor.
Strollers and prams
You may bring strollers and prams into the exhibitions. Please keep them with you at all times. Fold-up prams and buggies can be left free of charge in the cloakroom, by the information desk. Please note that there is limited space in the cloakroom.
Picnic and packed lunch
On the second floor, opposite the Sailor's Workshop, there is a room where you can enjoy your packed lunch. If the weather allows you can enjoy your lunch outside on the Museum's front lawns.
Child-friendly food
The restaurant offers child-friendly food, at a lower cost, as well as snacks, drinks, and ice cream. High chairs are available on request, subject to availability.
Important information
No animals
Animals are not allowed in the museum, except for service and assistant animals.
Children up to 12 years
Children up to and including 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult throughout the museum visit. This also applies to visits by schools, after-school programs, sports clubs, etc. Larger groups of children can be divided, but an adult must be present in each group throughout the entire museum visit.
Photography
You are allowed to take photographs, but without flash, in the museum. The use of flash significantly affects the museum objects.
Food and drinks
You are not allowed to bring any kind of foods, ice cream or drinks into the exhibitions.
