Did you know that there is something called the Karlskrona Helmet, manufactured at the navy shipyard in Karlskrona? The helmet in the picture is in the museum's collection and was probably made between 1935 and 1945. Among other things there are a loudspeaker and apparatus for breathing inside the helmet.

The exhibition presents objects used in diving during different periods from the 1500s until the mid-1900s. You will see a diver's watch, various diving helmets and other aids that have made it possible to explore wrecks at the bottom of the sea.
